Job Description:

The Regional Business Manager (gn) Oncology is responsible for managing the company's oncology portfolio at regional stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, hospitals, and networks like HCP associations. They identify potential customers and stakeholders, interact to expand business, and support strategy development in collaboration with marketing. The RBM manages cross-functional activities related to oncology customers in their geographic area, maintaining continuous communication through visits, calls, projects, and events, focusing on building partnerships rather than daily doctor visits. They lead (dotted line) the Medical Customer Manager (MCM) in their area and are responsible for customer prescriptions of oncology drugs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a competent contact for oncology physicians and stakeholders to promote the use of oncology drugs.
  • Plan and execute activities supporting specialist groups and their staff within oncology.
  • Work with Market Access to reduce local market barriers.
  • Provide scientific advice on monoclonal antibodies and other oncology drugs.
  • Share experiences and feedback about medicines with customers and back office.
  • Develop and implement interaction formats and projects with customer groups, collaborating with marketing, medical, and market access departments.
  • Present latest data on products.
  • Maintain and expand customer relationships and acquire new clients.
  • Achieve company goals quantitatively and qualitatively.
  • Plan and execute regional events and participate in conferences.
  • Maintain administrative documentation and customer databases.
  • Analyze sales trends and develop business plans.
  • Manage budgets and participate in competitive monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Utilize IT systems effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in pharmacy, medicine, veterinary medicine, chemistry, biology, pharmaceutical-technical assistance, or certification as a pharmaceutical representative.
  • Good contacts within oncology stakeholders, opinion leaders, and networks.
  • Proven success in relevant roles is desirable.
  • Knowledge of stakeholder decision processes and market drivers.
  • Experience supporting marketing and managing projects.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical field service, particularly with biologicals or biosimilars, is desirable.
  • Strong customer orientation and communication skills.
  • Reliable, structured, responsible, and capable of independent work and teamwork.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility.
  • Driver's license class B.
