Your Role

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented Senior Manager of Operational Excellence to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the implementation of operational excellence projects across various business units within the ZEISS group, aiming to deliver measurable results. This senior role requires a professional capable of leading teams, driving results, and implementing process improvements at a strategic level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to optimize processes and enhance efficiency along the value chain.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and lead cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Operational Excellence team to develop and maintain best practices and procedures.
• Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively for high-impact projects.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to foster a high-performance culture and develop continuous improvement skills across the organization.

Your Profile

• Master's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in operations optimization or operational excellence, preferably in a consultancy environment.
• Strong understanding of operations optimization principles such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management.
• Proven project management skills with experience leading complex projects.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and data analysis skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally for projects.
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
