Job Title: BP Filtration Sales Specialist (d/f/m)

The BP Filtration Sales Specialist supports all relevant call points across Bioprocess where Filtration Consumables products are sold. They provide expert product knowledge, training, and support to Account Managers, while generating sales from new and existing customers. The role involves evaluating customer processes to identify solutions and providing the necessary tools, information, and support to drive sales and identify new opportunities.

This position reports to the BP Zone Filtration Lead and is part of the Account/Direct Sales department based in Germany. The role is remote, covering the North/West region, including Kiel, Hannover, Hamburg, Bremen, etc.

Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to sales strategies and account plans as part of the core account team.
  2. Focus on Filtration Consumables opportunities and surrounding single-use designs within the region, supporting all related products and technologies by providing expertise and independently identifying opportunities.
  3. Develop sales of modality solutions in the assigned region, establishing long-term technical relationships with customers.
  4. Provide technical expertise during pre-sales discussions, demonstrations, training, post-sales support, seminars, tenders/quotes, and promotional events.
  5. Create a sales funnel to meet business targets, managing leads and prospects using CRM software.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field.
  • Several years of commercial experience, ideally in biotechnology.
  • Deep expertise in filtration hardware and consumables.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-selling, upselling, and value positioning.
  • Fluent in German and English, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to travel up to 40%, overnight within the territory.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
