Your new role

As our new Senior Project Manager , you will join a team of talented, high performing, and engaged Project Managers and Engineers at the forefront of innovative and complex design projects in Offshore foundation design projects. You will be responsible for leading and developing multidisciplinary project teams across different countries. As part of our global Project Management support network in Offshore Wind Engineering, you will use your expertise to help drive continuous improvement and actively shape the way we manage our projects.

Your key responsibilities

As part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will take on diverse range international projects of varied complexity and scale, with tasks and responsibilities that include;

• Leading and developing a group of international, high performing, multidisciplinary project teams in the delivery of a wide range of offshore foundation design projects.
• Ensuring all project goals are achieved while confirming the company's commitments to our clients by proposing, developing, and providing expert consulting services.
• Maintaining a multidisciplinary approach, including close collaboration with experts both inside and outside of the core design team.
• Management of projects from concept and feasibility studies through to detailed design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Managing the expectations and relationships with clients and suppliers, ensuring effective lines of communication and monitoring progress against the schedule and budget.
• Overseeing the engineering design to the relevant standards for projects, ensuring adherence to the design schedule.
• Managing commercial and financial aspects or projects, monitoring budget against actual costs, evaluating and mitigating risk, impact assessment and reporting to key stakeholders.
• Ensuring all project activities are carried out in strict accordance with health and safety standards.
• Compiling and presenting comprehensive progress reports to project meetings that include analyses of progress against key performance indicators.
• Developing and managing remedial activities in the event of project deviations to ensure minimal risk to cost and schedule.
• Collaborating with business development teams to prepare tender documents for new business opportunities.

About you

• Diploma or master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Project Management credentials such as PMP, IPM, Prince certification are highly desirable.
• Proven track record plus significant and measurable experience in successfully directing large and complex projects from study to delivery, ideally within Offshore Wind or renewable energy sector. Candidates from other large infrastructure projects will also be considered.
• Industry knowledge and understanding of design and engineering, preferably including project economics, interfaces, risks, and commercial aspects of offshore wind farm development.
• Team-oriented approach, strong problem-solving capabilities, and mentoring skills.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management tools and software, with a keen eye for incorporating sustainable practices.
• Experience in navigating regulatory frameworks and fostering partnerships in the energy transition landscape.
