Summary Statement

As part of our Group Business Controlling team, you will act as the interface between Controlling and our local as well as global IT departments. You are a direct business partner of the CIO, aiming to analyze and collaboratively manage IT costs across functions. Your role involves creating transparency regarding IT resources and ensuring the successful investment of financial resources, thereby enhancing the value and contribution of IT within Ottobock.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Developing the global IT controlling function conceptually
• Developing global reports for managing IT spending at both global and local levels
• Executing monthly reports independently, focusing on IT functions, including analysis, commentary, and presentation to stakeholders
• Coordinating forecast and budget processes in collaboration with the IT department
• Creating and maintaining guidelines, trend analyses, and benchmark analyses based on KPIs
• Supporting IT in calculating and establishing global charge-out rates for shared IT services
• Coordinating regularly with the CIO and other finance and controlling functions internationally

Qualifications

• Completed studies or training in computer science, economics, or business informatics
• Relevant professional experience in IT controlling, preferably in a corporate environment or auditing
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP-FICO and reporting tools like Power BI is desirable
• Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented and problem-solving approach
• Responsibility-taking enjoyment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
