Job Description:

• Conception and implementation of feasibility experiments to demonstrate the proof of principle of new development concepts
• Ensure high experimental quality and deep theoretical penetration throughout all stages of product development, from research to serial production
• Embrace and overcome complex or novel challenges by developing effective solutions and execution strategies highlighting your problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborate closely with your colleagues to create control software for hardware components
• Playing an important role in the product development process, ensuring clear and comprehensive documentation
• Collaboratively apply principles, rules, and strategies related to intellectual property when drafting invention disclosures, patents, publications, and presentations, ensuring the protection of innovative ideas and technologies
• Serve as a representative of the company by positive and productive interactions with external customers and collaborators.

Experience and Education:

• Proven first years industrial or several years academic experience (in development of sophisticated software solutions for analytic instrumentation)
• Possess strong flexibility to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently and structured in a detailed scientific manner.
• Effective and efficient in designing and implementing automated instrument tuning routines using Python or other scripting languages
• Demonstrate knowledge of instrument control, scripting, or automation of experiments
• Emphasize your strong flexibility to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently, demonstrating your ability to adapt to different work dynamics while maintaining a structured and detailed scientific approach
• Experience in the field of mass spectrometry and its applications is appreciated
