What you´ll do
- You will be the lead and main contact for all consumer-related research for the international marketing team "Dish," responsible for global categories of hand dishwashing detergents (e.g., Pril and Pur) and machine dishwashing detergents (Somat).
- You will partner with and provide strategic advice to International Marketing on consumer, category, and brand knowledge tasks, long-term category planning, brand building, product innovation launches, communication development, pricing, and assortment strategy. You will represent CMI in all meetings with Marketing concerning your categories.
- You will develop market research plans for marketing teams and determine the best research methodologies. You will be the gatekeeper for Henkels Consumer Brand’s Golden Innovation rules.
- You will initiate all market research studies for your categories and ensure they can be professionally managed by your CMI Manager. This includes consumer studies such as innovation development from consumer insights to final product validation, post-launch evaluation, and extensive brand and category baseline studies.
- You will provide marketing with category-specific analysis and cross-category meta-analysis to enhance understanding, improve test materials, and develop consumer-relevant innovations.
- You will promote consumer centricity within the company through customized initiatives.
What makes you a good fit
- Master's degree in economics, market research, psychology, sociology, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in market research, preferably within FMCGs.
- In-depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies for brand and category studies and new product innovation, from discovering consumer needs to validating the final product mix before launch.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent project management abilities.
- Very good communication skills: confident with strong consultative abilities.
- Proficiency in English; German skills are an advantage.
