Global Category Manager IT & Corp. Services (m/f/d) - Temporary contract, Regensburg

This role involves developing and implementing global strategies for categories within NPM (Non-Production Materials) Corporate Services & IT, fostering worldwide collaboration to enhance value through commercial, logistical, and technical improvements, and strengthening relationships with strategic partners.

Your responsibilities include:

• Purchasing Strategy: Implement and communicate the global purchasing strategy across regions via Category Strategy Papers (CSP).
• Pooling & Supplier Panel: Conduct market intelligence studies, optimize supplier pools, reduce supplier numbers, and establish strategic partnerships for cost savings and synergy.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with global and regional strategic suppliers, conduct strategic meetings to enhance service levels and meet customer expectations.
• Contracts: Manage and negotiate favorable agreements, ensuring compliance with legal, logistical, and technical standards.
• Active Sourcing: Lead global sourcing initiatives and coordinate regional strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
• KPI Management: Establish and monitor KPIs aligned with global targets for responsible categories.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to Business Partner and Vitesco Technologies Codes of Conduct.

Your profile:

• Degree in business administration, engineering, or a comparable field.
• Extensive experience in purchasing and supplier relationship management.
• Leadership experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP R/3, and World Class Sourcing Platforms.
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal skills and intercultural competence.
