Qualifikationen

• Erfahrung in einer Finanzrolle in einem SaaS- oder Start-up-Umfeld.
• Hohe Kompetenz in Monatsberichten (BWA) und Buchhaltungsgrundsätzen (HGB).

What we're looking for :

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Senior Finance Manager to join our team in Berlin. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in steering the financial functions of the company.

Your responsibilities :

1. Accounting Oversight: Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all accounting functions and reports.
2. Reporting: Prepare regular monthly reports as well as ad-hoc reports & analyses.
3. Financial Planning and Liquidity Management: Lead the creation and oversight of annual and long-term financial plans. Keep a close eye on cash balances and forecasts.
4. Budget Oversight: Regularly compare projected figures to actual results, identifying areas for improvement or adjustment.
5. Audit Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact with external auditors for annual financial audits, ensuring compliance and transparency.
6. Tax Oversight: Oversee the preparation and submission of tax statements.
7. Corporate Finance: Actively work with financing stakeholders such as banks, investors, and public subsidy organizations.
8. Operational Efficiency:

Process Optimization: Routinely assess our financial workflows to find and implement efficiencies that improve team performance.

1. KPI Tracking: Implement a robust reporting system for financial KPIs that's accessible to all teams.
2. Team Management: Mentorship and coordination of three working students within the team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a Finance role, within a SaaS or start-up environment.
• In-depth expertise in understanding annual company reports, with a high level of proficiency in monthly reports (BWA) and accounting principles (German GAAP (HGB)).
• Proficiency in Datev and Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Familiarity with Subscription Management tools like Chargebee as well as Payment Providers like Stripe and Moss.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Hands-on, make it happen attitude with a proven track record of implementing Finance policies and strategies effectively and efficiently.
