Job Description:

Skeleton's Commercial department is looking for a driven and experienced professional to drive new business growth in the grid industry. This role involves managing the entire sales lifecycle—from prospecting to contract negotiation—while collaborating with internal teams and providing tailored technical solutions to customers. The candidate will maintain an accurate sales pipeline, contribute to strategic market insights, and negotiate contracts supporting long-term customer success.

Your responsibility areas:

  • Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities within the grid industry, managing the sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.
  • Maintain a clear, accurate, and up-to-date sales pipeline in Salesforce, documenting all sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Update and report pipeline status regularly to ensure timely revenue forecasting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Supply Chain, Application Engineering, and Finance for smooth customer onboarding and order fulfilment.
  • Provide technical consultation to customers, explaining product capabilities and value propositions relevant to grid infrastructure.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, contributing strategic insights.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure mutually beneficial business engagements.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Industry Experience: At least 10 years working with energy providers, integrators, or related organizations in the grid industry.
  • Sales Experience: Minimum 5 years in customer-facing sales roles, preferably involving complex technical solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of electrical grid infrastructure, power systems, energy storage solutions, and related technologies.
  • CRM Proficiency: Managing sales pipelines and forecasting.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear value propositions.
  • Languages: Fluent in English; additional European languages are an asset.
  • Personal Competencies: Highly organized, self-driven, results-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Travel: Willing to travel regularly for customer meetings, industry events, and internal meetings.
