For our client, a dynamically growing mid-sized company, we are seeking to strengthen their purchasing team by hiring a dedicated Junior Purchaser (m/w/d).

This full-time position is based in Hamburg and is a direct placement.

Responsibilities:

1. Support throughout the procurement process: needs assessment, supplier scouting, and RFQ creation
2. Comparison of offers and initial negotiations on conditions with national and international suppliers
3. Creation and maintenance of orders, monitoring delivery dates and deadlines
4. Master data maintenance in ERP systems (e.g., SAP MM, Business Central)
5. Participation in incoming goods inspections, invoice reconciliation, and complaint management

Qualifications:

• Completed studies (e.g., Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics Management) or commercial training
• Initial practical purchasing experience through internships, working student positions, or comparable roles
• Interest in further education, e.g., Certified Purchasing & Material Management Specialist (IHK), SAP MM Consultant, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Fluent German and good English skills
