The Wind Construction Engineer (WCE), under the supervision of the Wind Department Manager, is responsible for:
Assisting in procurement processes, including drafting Requests for Proposals, evaluating proposals, recommending shortlisted candidates, and negotiating contracts.
This collaboration closely involves the Implementation Manager for various purposes such as:
Overseeing the balance of plant activities including roads, foundations, cabling, etc.
Managing the procurement and installation of key equipment such as wind turbine generators, power transformers, etc.
Managing service contracts.
Reviewing wind farm layouts, bill of quantities, and civil and electrical designs throughout the permitting stages (pre-design, construction design), during implementation (execution design), and in the final as-built design phase.
Supplying technical data and cost estimates to the Finance Department to facilitate financial simulations.
Assisting the Finance Department in technical aspects related to Due Diligence processes conducted by external financial entities.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (e.g., civil or electrical engineering).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the wind energy sector or relevant construction fields.
Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and basic CAD software.
Familiarity with FIDIC contracts would be advantageous.
Fluent in English; additional language proficiency is desirable.
Salary expectation: 50k€ - 80k (max) + variable component
