We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ML Engineer to join our team.

Floy supports radiologists by enhancing their diagnostic efforts with innovative AI products focused on overlooked diseases. You will be part of a fast-paced scientific team tasked with developing novel algorithms to address unexplored radiological diagnostic challenges. This requires expertise in the latest ML/DL techniques in medical image processing and computer vision, the ability to think creatively, and an understanding of the biology of various pathologies, the physics of signal acquisition methods (CT, MRI, etc.), and the capacity to independently plan and execute R&D tasks with passion.

The goal is to push beyond common research boundaries to build state-of-the-art models that deliver tangible benefits to patients. You will contribute to model development from inception to clinical deployment. Where applicable, patents and publications in leading conferences and journals are encouraged.

Your responsibilities

1. Develop innovative ML products for radiological image diagnostics.
2. Create intellectual property by advancing Floy's capabilities beyond current SOTA and competitors.
3. Stay informed with the latest literature on medical image processing and computer vision.
4. Understand biological and physical principles related to organs, pathologies, and imaging modalities like CT and MRI.

What are we looking for?

1. Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Experience with medical image processing or computer vision using deep learning, through positions, theses, or coursework.
3. Strong knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts.
4. Attention to detail and commitment to scientific accuracy.
5. Excellent communication skills in English.
6. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
7. Proficiency in Python and scientific deep learning tools.

Good-to-have:

1. Publications in relevant conferences such as MICCAI, ISBI, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, etc.
2. Experience with MLOps and reproducible experiment management.
