We are seeking an Electrical Engineer / Power Plant Engineer for the Sewage Treatment Plant (m/f/d) at our Köhlbrandhöft wastewater treatment plant, with the following details:

• Full-time (38 hours), suitable for part-time work | On-call duty | Location: Köhlbrandhöft | Permanent position

What we do: Our sludge incineration department monitors compliance with operational rules and standards, plans resource allocation, optimizes plant operation, and manages operational tasks including on-call duties.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and managing combustion plants in a network including three fluidized bed furnaces, flue gas cleaning systems, and gas and steam turbines with heat extraction
• Participating in commissioning of new combustion facilities
• Performing process adjustments and optimizations
• Troubleshooting and supervising external contractors
• Executing process modifications, maintenance, and fault rectification
• Isolating plant sections in mechanical and electrical areas up to 10 kV

Qualifications required:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's or equivalent)
• Experience in process engineering, power plant technology, turbines, and flue gas systems
• Knowledge of technical standards and plant software such as process control systems and SAP
• Understanding of thermodynamics
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties
