With national rail freight transport, we are counteracting the ever-increasing volume of traffic on the roads and at the same time contributing to a noticeable reduction in the burden on the environment and the conservation of existing resources. As a member of our team, you will offer our customers a reliable and sustainable solution for transporting goods by rail.

Your responsibilities:
- Professional and disciplinary management of a team of 4 employees
- Communication with internal and external customers
- Communication with internal and external partner companies / service providers
- Collaboration in day-to-day business within dispatching (management of vehicles in local transport and occasional purchase of vehicles in long-distance transport (spot market))
- Long-term purchasing of vehicles for local and long-distance transport and occasionally via the spot market
- Planning processes in the event of deviations from the standard process and changes in customer requirements
- Development of quality indicators and management of day-to-day business based on the indicators
- Participation in quality meetings with the customer
- Continuous process optimisation
- Liaising with the team leaders of the teams in Lehrte and Osnabrück
Your profile:
- Completed training as a forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
- Experience in dispatching local and long-distance transport
- Initial experience in employee management desirable
- Ability to work independently and make decisions
- Strong process thinking
- Strong customer orientation and high quality awareness
- Solution-orientated thinking and acting
- Fluent written and spoken English is required
- Good IT skills
- Experience in intermodal transport desirable
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel
