Responsibilities

1. Leverage data science, AI, and business domain knowledge to improve performance, evaluate project plans, communicate goals, and share insights with stakeholders.
2. Acquire, prepare, and explore data through querying, visualization, reporting techniques, and collaboration, ensuring data integrity.
3. Apply machine learning, generative AI, and statistical analysis to develop, train, optimize, and evaluate models, and communicate findings.
4. Test, review, and improve models by analyzing performance and incorporating feedback.
5. Write and debug scalable code, collaborate with engineering teams, and integrate data models into customer systems and production.
6. Collaborate with customers and teams to define needs, create roadmaps for performance improvements, and influence stakeholders using storytelling and visual tools.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field, with business-focused data science experience.
2. Experience leading complex projects, designing scalable solutions, and applying advanced techniques to solve business challenges. Strong coding, problem-solving, and communication skills.
3. Hands-on software engineering experience (e.g., Python, Scikit-learn, PyTorch) with established data science and generative AI frameworks.
4. Familiarity with deploying large-scale AI solutions into production in a cloud environment.

Preferred

1. Fluency in German.
