Forte Renewables is a trusted expert in Technical Advisory, Owners Engineering, and Project Management services for renewable energy projects. Established in Amsterdam in 2012, we support investors in achieving their project goals by meticulously assessing Technical Due Diligence and managing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction stages to exceed industry standards. We are currently looking for a candidate to join our team for the position of : Business Development Manager - Technical Advisory .

Responsibilities :

  • Identifying new business opportunities for technical consulting in the renewable energy industry (especially wind, solar and BESS);
  • Increasing the value of existing clients and attracting new clients.
  • Finding and developing new markets and increasing sales;
  • Providing project knowledge and recommendations on how best to serve client needs;
  • Working closely with the Managing Director to implement the sales strategy;
  • Working with other internal team managers to achieve defined organizational objectives;
  • Write and develop proposals by identifying customer needs;
  • Attending conferences, meetings and industry events.

Requirements :

  • Experience in a similar position and an understanding of the needs of contractors in a constantly evolving industry such as renewable energy - Technical knowledge of renewable energy in particular wind and solar energy;
  • University degree, preferably in engineering;
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers;
  • Very good knowledge of English;
  • Knowledge of sales techniques;
  • High level of communication skills;
  • Experience in conducting telephone calls, cold calling;
  • Goal-oriented and positive attitude;
  • Willingness to travel on business;
  • Driving licence;
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office;
  • Knowledge of the CRM platform will be an asset.
