Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Legal Services - Corporate Matter team at our headquarters in Hannover, Germany, join us on a permanent basis, starting as a Data Protection Coordinator / Lawyer.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining the data protection management system in collaboration with the team
• Creating and implementing data protection policies and procedures
• Monitoring compliance with legal requirements, especially GDPR
• Advising internal departments and possibly external clients on data protection issues
• Preparing reports for the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board
• Training staff on data protection topics
• Documenting data protection incidents and resolutions
• Cooperating with regulatory authorities and managing requests and complaints

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business Administration with legal focus or Law/Business Law (First State Examination or Bachelor's)
• Practical experience in data protection law (internships, clerkship)
• Knowledge of GDPR preferred
• Fluent in German and English, able to communicate complex issues clearly
• Attention to detail and proactive approach to data protection risks
