As an AI Workflow Architect, you'll help build the backbone of how a modern creative agency operates with AI at its core-designing and implementing scalable, AI-enabled systems that optimise creative operations and empower our teams to move smarter and faster.

At HY.AM Studios, we're integrating AI into everything we do-from research and ideation to production and delivery. Your role is to transform scattered, manual processes into seamless, automated workflows that unlock new levels of speed, clarity, and creative potential across our social media, branding, and production departments.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design intelligent systems, integrate tools, and iterate quickly. This is a hands-on, architecture-first role for someone fluent in AI tooling, data flow, and automation-ready to take ownership of making our systems smarter and more future-ready.

Key Responsibilities

1. Define Use Cases & User Needs

• Identify operational pain points and opportunities across departments (creative, content, ops, client services) in collaboration with senior leadership
• Define the problem, end user, and desired outcomes for each AI-enhanced use case.
• Translate abstract goals (e.g., "faster content feedback" or "automated moodboarding") into structured workflows.

2. System Architecture & Workflow Design

• Design modular, scalable AI-enhanced workflows-thinking in inputs/outputs, triggers, UI layers, and tool-to-tool sequencing.
• Map data flow, logic trees, and context handling across tools, APIs, and frontends.
• Architect for extensibility-allowing tools to be added, swapped, or scaled as needs evolve.

3. Orchestration Layer Development

• Build orchestration logic for multi-step, multi-agent workflows, including:
  • Tool/task routing
  • Prompt chaining and memory management
  • Session history, error handling, and fallback logic
• Use orchestration frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Flowise to manage task coordination between models and services.

4. Tool Integration & Prototyping

• Integrate and test tools such as:
  • LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Mistral)
  • Image/video tools (Midjourney, Runway, D-ID, ElevenLabs)
  • APIs (Slack, Notion, Google Docs, Asana, Figma, Airtable, Trello)
• Use automation platforms (Make, Zapier, n8n, Retool) to build reliable, low-code/no-code integrations.
• Embed AI workflows directly into the platforms our teams already use.
• Implement authentication, permission layers, and performance constraints.

5. Evaluation & Optimization

• Run scenario-based testing to validate reasoning, tool interactions, and user outcomes.
• Log system behavior and track workflow performance.
• Refine orchestration logic, prompt flows, and system architecture based on real usage.
• Implement observability (e.g., LangSmith, custom dashboards) to support long-term performance.

6. Documentation & Enablement

• Document workflows, change processes, and decision logic to support adoption.
• Build onboarding resources and templates to help teams operate systems confidently.
• Host demos and training sessions across departments to ensure clarity and engagement.

7. Governance & AI Fluency

• Stay on top of emerging tools, orchestration frameworks, and agent platforms-bringing forward relevant innovations early.
• Champion responsible AI use by defining standards for data privacy, creative integrity, and model transparency.
• Collaborate with leadership and legal to align tooling with client policies and regulatory requirements.

YOU

Experience & Expertise

• 2-3 years of experience (or equivalent portfolio) in technical system design, AI integration, or workflow automation.
• Proven experience designing scalable systems using orchestration tools (LangChain, CrewAI, Flowise) and automation platforms (Make, Zapier, n8n).
• Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and logic trees; proficiency in Python and PostgreSQL is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience with both creative AI tools (Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs) and foundational LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Mistral).
• Able to rapidly prototype, test, and optimize tools in fast-paced environments.
