To strengthen our team at our location in Lingen (Ems), with flexible working time models and the option of home office, we are looking for an Application & Product Manager (all genders welcome) for Offshore Engineering Structures.
Within our Business Field Critical Infrastructure Integrity, we offer services to ensure the integrity and reliability of Offshore Engineering Structures. Our data-driven approach to Structural Integrity Management aims to extend the lifetime of aging offshore facilities. Our holistic services include fitness for service assessments, risk-based inspections, and structural health monitoring.
What You Can Expect
- Technical responsibility within our request and development process for specific products and services.
- Ownership of the technical application roadmap for your products and services.
- Driving optimal technology selections for structural health monitoring (SHM) systems for offshore fixed and floating structures in the Oil & Gas and renewable sectors.
- Orchestrating single or multi-projects within our research and development teams.
- Developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of related application areas.
- Acting as the main contact for internal customers and as interface between stakeholders and the development team for feedback and changes.
- Supporting the translation of market requirements into technical specifications and contributing to risk assessment processes.
- Establishing and presenting effective technical solution proposals.
- Ensuring the functionality, usability, and performance of your products and services, including compliance and security.
- Conducting customer visits to provide technical input and gather field application feedback.
What You Bring

- A degree in a relevant technical field such as Offshore, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Several years of professional experience in offshore structural engineering or structural health monitoring.
- Exposure to relevant SHM technologies, including sensors, data acquisition systems, and ancillary systems (power and data communications).
- Experience with data analytics and AI/ML tools.
- Understanding of customer requirements and complex technical requirements.
- Excellent strategic thinking skills.
- Team-oriented collaboration skills and the ability to coordinate between stakeholders at various levels.
