Major applications include Renewables (Solar & Wind), Motor Drives, High Power Chargers, and Power Supplies. As the Director of Field Application Engineering (FAE) based in Langen (Frankfurt), you will lead a team that acts as the key interface between our innovative customers and our technical marketing and application engineering departments. Your leadership skills will be essential in fostering and implementing our strategic vision.

1. Manage and enable a team of FAE’s
2. Continuously adapt the FAE organization to market developments and strategic targets

5. Maximize future business opportunities by understanding the complete Infineon portfolio
6. Help FAE’s align stakeholders and support their projects
7. Manage FAE resource allocation based on expected ROI, demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset

9. Foster continuous learning among FAE’s to develop trusted advisory skills and support career growth

Qualifications include:

1. A university degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
2. At least 8 years of professional experience in the semiconductor or power electronics market
3. Experience as a team leader with the ability to identify and attract talents
4. Ability to identify early trends and competitive threats
5. Analytical skills for assessing value propositions and prioritizing Go-to-Market activities
6. Ability to align with key stakeholders and manage multiple interfaces
7. Strategic thinking, business acumen, entrepreneurial mindset, and understanding of process management, digitalization, and change management
8. Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365
9. Strong project management skills
10. Excellent English communication and presentation skills, German is a plus
