Responsibilities:

• Technical and disciplinary management of the packing area in the warehouse
• Ensuring the activities in this area
• Packaging and labelling of our products in accordance with legal and customer-specific specifications and the Klüber standard
• Packing the load units in accordance with the specifications of the load securing standard
• Handing over the packed and labelled goods to the loading area
• Regular implementation of the 5S+S specifications in the area used
• Monitoring the warehouse KPIs for dispatch volume and ensuring the required delivery reliability, with the derivation of improvement measures
• Optimisation of work processes, considering lean management methods and business principles
• Coordination of processes with upstream and downstream processes to ensure a holistic process flow
• Close coordination with neighbouring specialist departments
• Support for logistics projects
• Representation of divisional management in the LOG DC area
• Management of employees in the Packing division following KLM Principles of leadership and cooperation

Qualifications:

• Degree in logistics, industrial engineering, or comparable training
• Several years of professional experience in logistics, especially warehouse logistics
• Experience in intra- and extra logistics
• Proficiency in IT, especially SAP
• Process- and solution-oriented thinking
• Extensive personnel management experience
• Above-average commitment and hands-on mentality
• Knowledge of lean management/Six Sigma methodologies
