Über uns

At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. Amazon is one of the most recognizable brand names in the world, distributing millions of products each year to our loyal customers. Our entire business works hard to delight our customers — from the second an order is placed online to the seamless coordination behind the scenes. We strive to stay agile, fluid, and intentional, guided by our core Leadership Principles, including Bias for Action. This means our teams collaborate, roll up their sleeves, and aren’t content with standing still.

Amazon Operations is at the heart of our business, known for speed, accuracy, and exceptional service. Our buildings deliver tens of thousands of products daily to hundreds of countries. In these key roles, you'll help us exceed productivity goals and fulfill our customer promises. Our scale is expansive, and our presence continues to grow. Our goal is to offer the world’s greatest selection of products and services with the best customer experience. Whatever customers want, Amazon will find the means to deliver it. With your help, Amazon will continue to enable discovery and innovation. This is your chance to make history.

The Role

Amazon is seeking Site Process Engineers to join the Process Engineering (PE) team, based in Fulfillment Centers (FCs). The PE team drives process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement across the EU Customer Fulfillment Network. The team aims to establish best-in-class network performance, accelerate technological implementation, and strengthen operational leaders’ process knowledge. As the EU network grows, we must ensure operations teams are equipped with the necessary expertise to deliver technology and process improvements effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Variation Reduction: Identify top opportunities for process improvement in the FCs, focusing on the bottom 50% processes. Implement and audit action plans, review open SIMs weekly, and collaborate with regional PEs to benchmark and reduce variation, generating financial savings.
  2. Continuous Improvement: Drive network best practices, capture and scale innovations, and ensure large projects are integrated into the annual project pipeline.
  3. Deployment of Initiatives: Manage the execution of EU network initiatives within FCs, support pilot projects, and ensure timely project deployment and review.
  4. Partnership with FC Operations: Participate in daily floor Gemba walks, organize weekly leadership meetings, and build strong relationships with site leadership to gain trust and support initiatives.
  5. Project Leadership: Support or lead EU projects, expanding scope and coordinating across multiple FCs, to enhance project management skills and stakeholder engagement.
  6. Travel: Ability to travel within the area of responsibility as needed, estimated at 0-10%.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Process Engineering, Quality, Operations, Logistics, or related fields; fluency in English (C1 level).
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen methodologies, change management, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.

Amazon is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We value your passion for innovation and building. If you need workplace accommodations, please refer to our Privacy Notice and support resources.
