About the Role

Here at Workday, our Specialized Account Executives are key players in our Field Sales organization. With a net new revenue focus, they are the fuel for Workday’s new customer growth of Workday Specialized Products (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Scout, HiredScore, and Peakon). This team plays a crucial role in guiding new customers to transition from legacy platforms to our enterprise management cloud. In this role, you will:

  1. Develop and drive the overall short-term strategy for the account, aligned with customer business objectives, and build & maintain long-term relationships.
  2. Be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers and channel partners, focusing on deal management and connecting customer needs with specific Workday solutions.
  3. Work with Net New and Customer Base AEs to identify potential sales opportunities for existing specialized products.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and forecast data.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud solutions to C-level executives in a field sales role.
  • Experience managing sales cycles of 9+ months, including prospecting.
  • Experience with account planning and internal stakeholder coordination.
  • HR Technology & recruiting/talent acquisition experience.

Other Qualifications:

  • Understanding of industry trends and customer needs to position Workday solutions effectively.
  • Deep product expertise and industry awareness.
  • Partnership with internal teams on account strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, credible with senior executives.
  • Experience selling to Large Enterprise / Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Self-starter, high energy, adaptable, inquisitive.
  • Goal-oriented with a record of over-performance.
  • Experience in fast-paced startup environments.
