Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:
- Lead the commissioning of electrical machinery, power generation, and auxiliary systems in shipbuilding projects;
- Coordinate internal and external teams, ensuring timely and efficient project execution;
- Maintain high-quality standards by updating test specifications and construction documentation;
- Manage technical interfaces and serve as the primary contact for authorities and clients;
- Analyze and solve technical issues proactively;
- Align commissioning and testing documents with contracts and regulations;
- Organize and oversee sea trials and document results;
- Prepare regular progress reports to ensure transparency.
Minimum Requirements:
- Completed vocational training in the field of electrics and several years of professional experience;
- Qualification as a state-certified technician or master craftsman would be an advantage;
- Ideally, authorization to switch and STCW-relevant certificates;
- Experience in working with document management systems, databases, and MS Office;
- Fluent in German and English;
- Ability to work in a team and success-oriented way;
- Communication skills, confident manner, and goal-oriented approach.
