My client is a leading provider of integrated logistics solutions, offering transport services across Europe. As part of their continuous expansion, they are looking for a Senior IT System Engineer to strengthen their IT Support & Project Services team at our headquarters in Luxembourg.

Your Role

You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure, spanning two datacenters in Luxembourg and 20 remote sites across Europe, serving over 1,000 users.

Operations

1. Provide support for critical incidents and analyze root causes.
2. Work closely with vendors and IT teams to resolve issues.
3. Oversee and manage all installed systems and infrastructure.
4. Automate tasks through scripting to improve efficiency.
5. Ensure data security against internal and external threats.

Project & Change Management

1. Design, test, and implement hardware/software configurations in collaboration with the CTO.
2. Lead IT projects and ensure smooth execution.
3. Ensure compliance with operational requirements and assist third-party providers.
4. Monitor software licensing to ensure legal compliance.

Your Profile

1. 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
2. University degree in IT or related field.
3. Strong technical expertise in:
4. Windows Server, AD, Exchange, SQL Server.
5. Monitoring tools (SCOM, SCCM, Zabbix, Commvault).
6. Security & Networking (Firewall, Load balancing, WLAN, Switches).
7. Entrepreneurial mindset, sense of responsibility, and ability to perform under pressure.
