Responsibilities

1. Report to Manager Manufacturing Engineering, Stamping.
2. Does not manage people.
3. Acts based on directions by the manager and undertakes actions for process improvement in new product introduction.
4. Responsible for executing the job with focus on cost, quality, and timing.
5. Builds and maintains an attitude of team player to fellow positions to attached and interacting organizations.
6. Act in accordance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
7. Act in accordance with compliance and security regulations.
8. Determine feasibility for Engineering Changes Orders (ECOs) and determine time and cost to implement.
9. Work with CAD Tech Lead, ECO/Machining Lead, and Toolmakers to develop modification plans for stamping dies to implement quality improvements, new build die design, ECOs, and other modifications and/or repairs.

Profile

1. Bachelor / Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. The equivalent in experience is also acceptable with evidence of exceptional ability.
2. Previous experience in working in and acting with multiple groups of professionals.
3. Previous experience in automotive stamping/die manufacturing.
4. Solidly organized, with meticulous attention to detail.
5. Experience with structured problem-solving methodology.
6. Able to work under intense time pressure in the presence of others.
7. Mastery of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio / Project, Jira, Confluence.
8. Travel is included, including some internationally may be required from time to time.
9. Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
10. Fluent in German and/or English language skills.
11. Experience in CNC programming and surface reverse engineering is a plus.
