We are looking for a skilled and proactive Demand and Inventory Planner to manage forecasting and inventory planning for Sea to Summit and Distributed Brands across the EMEA region. In this role, you will work closely with the Global Demand Planner, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure product availability, support the S&OP process, and maintain the right product mix for various markets. Your efforts will help align regional forecasts with global strategies, optimizing stock levels and enhancing supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities

Demand Forecasting & Analysis: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and input from sales teams. Regularly review and adjust forecasts in response to changing market conditions to ensure stock levels align with demand.

Collaboration & Alignment: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align demand forecasts with marketing activities, promotional campaigns, and new product launches.

S&OP Process Participation: Lead regional demand review meetings, ensuring demand planning aligns with the global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Provide market insights and adjust forecasts to meet business needs.

Inventory Management: Oversee regional inventory levels to ensure optimal stock allocations, preventing stockouts and overstock situations. Ensure supply chain teams are aligned with the forecasted demand and make adjustments as necessary.

Sales Support & Insights: Provide actionable insights to the sales team to help inform decision-making, ensuring that market-specific needs and product availability are met.

Risk Management & Mitigation: Identify and manage potential supply chain risks, including demand fluctuations, delays, and stock imbalances. Propose and implement strategies to minimize disruptions.

Portfolio & Product Lifecycle Management: Assist in the management of product lifecycles, including rationalizing underperforming SKUs and identifying opportunities for new product introductions. Ensure accurate product data management across all systems.

Reporting & Data Sharing: Work with the Global Demand Planner to provide detailed reports, trends, and insights to support the global demand alignment and forecasting process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, preferably in consumer goods or outdoor products
  • Experience working with multiple markets/subsidiaries and distributors in a regional role.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across regional and global teams.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in demand planning
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant IT tools (ERP, WMS, Excel, Power BI or similar)
