Your responsibility as a Solution Specialist in Medical Device Software Development includes advising and supporting clients in the medical technology and life science sectors throughout their software development projects. You will provide expertise from technical concept to implementation of innovative medical devices that influence the market.

Your Tasks

• Creating client presentations, project concepts, offers, and communication materials to attract new clients
• Advising clients on product definition, design, technical implementation, and project success
• Establishing new software development projects and serving as the technical leader during initial phases
• Producing publications and presentations for industry media and events
• Building trustworthy relationships with decision-makers at client organizations
• Identifying requirements, obstacles, and potential solutions within clients' organizations

Additionally, you should have:

• Extensive experience in IT as a software architect, developer, or consultant
• Background in medical technology or life sciences
• Experience leading software development teams
• Expertise in creating and ensuring quality of software solutions for medical devices
• Proficiency in software development for Linux and Windows using C++, C#, .NET, embedded, and desktop environments
• Preferably, experience with protocols like SDC, gRPC, MQTT for medical device connectivity
• Additional experience in cloud, web, IoT, mobile applications, and languages like Java, TypeScript, Python
• Knowledge of standards like HL7 FHIR, DICOM, IEEE 11073 SDC, ISO 13485, IEC 62304
• Hands-on experience with agile methodologies, continuous integration/delivery, infrastructure as code
• Understanding of healthcare cybersecurity requirements
• Stakeholder management and coaching skills
• Business proficiency in English, preferably German
• Willingness to travel
• Client orientation, sales and business development interest
• Target-driven, trustworthy, with excellent communication and presentation skills
