Join PAYONE GmbH as a Strategic Procurement Manager (m/w/d) based in Frankfurt or anywhere in Germany. This is a full-time hybrid role in Frankfurt am Main with experience required, posted on 18.11.24.

Your Responsibilities at the Leading Payment Service Provider in DE and AT

As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you will coordinate strategic purchasing activities for indirect and/or IT commodity groups in consultation with business units. Your scope includes defining strategies, managing planned and ad-hoc needs efficiently, and maintaining supplier relationships. Your actions will contribute to achieving procurement goals and ensuring compliant procurement processes, maintaining regular communication with internal stakeholders across departments.

Your Specific Tasks

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for your responsible commodity groups, including supply market and supplier strategies.
2. Conduct regular market research and analysis.
3. Plan and execute tenders and request for quotations, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
4. Manage the complete supplier contract process, from negotiations to contract conclusion, amendments, and termination.
5. Manage and continuously review the supplier portfolio, including supplier selection, classification, evaluation (quality, performance, risk, compliance, cost optimization, innovation, development potential), and building strategic partnerships.
6. Develop action plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
7. Participate in procurement-related projects.
