Job Description:

OUR VISION

When people use our technology to "bridge the gap" between the physical and digital worlds, they don’t just capture reality - they create a new one. In this new reality, they are smarter, more productive, more streamlined, and more creative - because they have the digital foundation to build the world they want to live in.

That’s what NavVis offers in all our products and services: the tools to not just map the world as it is, but to pave the way to a better future. To forge something new. Physical or digital, there is only one reality. And it’s the reality NavVis empowers people to build better.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Do you have what it takes to ensure the compliance of the most advanced Indoor Mobile Mapping Device and directly impact its success?

As a Senior Product Compliance Engineer, you will combine your background in electronics and hardware with your experience in compliance and testing to oversee the full compliance cycle for our products, ensuring they meet international regulations and standards.

Are you excited to work in an interdisciplinary team of open-minded people developing the next generation of cutting-edge mobile mapping technology made in Munich?

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • You will own the full product compliance cycle from development to external testing, including developing comprehensive test strategies.
  • You will shape and further develop our global market access (GMA) strategy, including markets like the EU, USA, Australia, Japan, and China.
  • You will ensure all products comply with international regulations and standards, covering topics like Product Safety, Radio & EMC, RoHS, REACH, and others.
  • You will create and maintain detailed documentation, test plans, and protocols for testing during development, as well as compliance procedures.
  • You will work closely with designers, software and hardware engineers, and management to define requirements, run test campaigns, and resolve issues early on.
  • You will act as the link between product development and fully compliant mass production, impacting quality, reliability, and product success.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience in product compliance and test engineering, with concrete experience in international regulations.
  • Knowledge of global radio frequency requirements and testing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of EMC (e.g., IEC 61326-1, EN 55032, EN 55035) and product safety standards (e.g., IEC 61010-1, IEC 62368-1).
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing test strategies and methodologies.
  • A systematic and analytical approach to testing and documentation, with strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines in a fast-paced environment.

What would be even better?

  • Previous experience with RF module and antenna approval processes.
  • Hands-on experience with EMC testing and debugging in-house and with external labs.
  • Experience with testing for Ingress Protection Codes.

HOW WE WILL KNOW WE ARE A PERFECT MATCH

Your recruiting partner for this role is Stavroula (she/her). The process includes a screening call, up to 3 interview rounds, and an onsite visit to our HQ, where we will explore your passion, introduce our culture, and discuss mutual growth opportunities.

HOW WE WILL KEEP YOU SMILING

  • 30 days of paid time off per year.
  • Flexible hours and hybrid work setup.
  • Full visa and relocation support for international candidates.
  • Bike leasing through JobRad.
  • Competitive salary package.
  • Up to 4000 EUR employee referral bonus.
  • Support for local language classes.
