Job title: Sustainable Development Investment Manager

TGRC is working with an asset manager who is currently looking for a Sustainable Development Investment Manager to join their team in Germany.

The company is a global impact asset manager focusing on sustainable development worldwide. It specializes in developing and advising impact investment funds that use blended finance structures to engage public and private investors in addressing climate change, biodiversity conservation, sustainable resource use, livelihoods, and economic opportunities.

They have deployed over EUR 5 billion towards these objectives globally.

The Role:

• Deal Origination: Identify investment prospects in renewable energy sectors (wind and solar PV) via research, networking, and industry contacts.
• Due Diligence: Conduct financial, operational, and risk assessments; present proposals to the Investment Committee.
• Investment Execution: Lead deal structuring, negotiations, and closing in greenfield, repowering, and late-stage assets across renewable and energy transition tech in targeted areas. Negotiate project contracts (SPA, O&M, TCMA, MSA, TSA, EPC).
• Portfolio Management: Work with asset management to improve operations, growth, and value.
• Market Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends and macroeconomic factors.
• Investor Relations: Communicate with investors and stakeholders about strategies and performance.
• Leadership: Manage a team of Investment Associates and Analysts.

The Individual:

• Experience with early and greenfield renewable energy projects, ideally with investment firms, developers, IPPs, or banks.
• Proven track record in direct alternative investments and private equity.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in business, economics, finance, or related fields.
