Job Description:

Patients with mitral and tricuspid heart valve disease often face complex conditions with limited treatment options. Our Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) business unit is pursuing innovative technologies to address unmet clinical needs, aiming to help patients live longer and healthier lives. Join us in this inspiring journey.

Your key responsibility will be developing relationships with heart failure specialists and general cardiologists, as well as in the interventional community, to increase awareness of interventional strategies for treating atrioventricular valve regurgitation. Building referral practices and driving alignment, adoption, and execution of clinical trial therapy development initiatives in your area will be core duties.

Candidate location: Germany. Some travel (~25-30%) will be required, mainly within Germany and EU congresses, society meetings.

How you will make an impact:

  • Identify restrictions to patient access within the region. Evaluate and find creative solutions to inform and influence strategic business plans for patient outreach, including recruitment events, along the clinical trial continuum in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop relationships with HCPs through outreach, education, product demonstrations, and conference participation within clinical research.
  • Create HCP- and patient-focused materials to support strategic plans in collaboration with marketing.
  • Provide technical expertise on devices and protocols, and support patient selection, screening, imaging, and clinical data management.
  • Identify opportunities along the referral pathway to maximize patient access to clinical trials.
  • Engage with HCPs to understand clinical needs and constraints related to trial protocols.
  • Build timelines and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
  • Offer technical guidance on projects, identify trial site bottlenecks, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Track and document activities per clinical trial guidelines.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Life Sciences or related field.
  • 10 years of experience.
  • Heart Failure experience from pharma or medical devices.
  • Experience as a Clinical Specialist or similar role in interventional cardiology preferred.
  • Knowledge of clinical trials preferred.
  • Fluent in German and English.
