The BOXER 8x8 is a leading armoured vehicle developed jointly by Germany and the Netherlands, managed by ARTEC GmbH in Munich. ARTEC is a joint venture of KNDS Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH, and Rheinmetall Defence Nederland B.V., responsible for the BOXER programme and export opportunities. Over 1,300 vehicles have been contracted as of June 2024, with annual sales between 200 and 300 million EUR.
The role of In-Service Support Engineer involves supporting international customers and the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) during the support phase of the BOXER vehicle.
