Dynatrace seeks a knowledgeable, experienced Employee and Labor Relations Senior Investigator with strong communication and effective interpersonal skills. This individual will conduct investigations and partner closely with People Business Partners, People Operations, Leaders, Employees, and internal and external Counsels to bring resolution to a broad spectrum of employee relations issues and projects globally across EMEA, APAC, NORAM and LATAM.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Provides consultative expertise, advice and support on employee relations matters ranging from basic to complex or high risk globally to Leaders, Stakeholders, and P&C.
• Oversees ER cases including disciplinary issues, probationary period, grievances, performance management concerns, involuntary exits (including redundancies), sensitive and/or high-risk leaves of absence, and other matters to successful resolution. Responds to and investigates employee complaints.
• Conducts, leads, and steers investigations. Documents findings and outcomes. Acts quickly to address issues and mitigate DT risks. Helps assess and mitigate risk on P&C Compliance topics.
• Partners with P&C team to conduct and provide status updates on investigations, performance, disciplinary recommendations and policy clarifications.
• Monitors internal investigations and outcomes, developing recommendations for management to ensure proactive identification, resolutions, and elimination of workplace issues.
• Works with Legal, ER & Compensation experts (internally and externally) and other stakeholders to understand trends and challenges of investigations.
• Creates new policies and processes on investigations and grievances together with the Director of Employee Relations and Compliance and Legal Counsels.
• Advises the Employee Relations Senior Reporting Advisor on building metrics on investigations.
• Trains the Employee Relations representative(s), designated Business Partners and People Operations representative on how to conduct investigations, evidence preservation, and document findings and recommendations.
• In partnership with People BP team, provides expertise, consultation, and coaching to all levels of the organization on ways to address employee behavior and performance concerns, including assisting on the development and delivery of appropriate feedback or corrective action that aligns with company processes.
• Provides guidance, expert interpretation of policies and trainings to minimize potential adverse impact resulting from compliance issues and complaints.
• Researches complex issues, recommends resolution strategies, and reflects historic precedent, DT philosophy, regulation requirements, policies, and other considerations.
• Recommends and supports implementation of improvements to enhance transparency and accuracy of processes and information.
• Interprets, communicates, and maintains ER policies, processes, and programs.
• Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience.
• English business fluent.
• German or Spanish would be an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of regional employment legislative requirements and regulations and their pragmatic application.
• Very sound experience in performing also complex investigations.
• Certificate fraud examiner, mediator, or similar favorable.
• Basic knowledge of forensics.
• Experience in Excel and Power BI favorable.
• Positive role model and strong work ethic. Commitment to the highest standards of excellence and integrity.
• High amount of empathy plus ability for abstract thinking.
• Excellent consultative, coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution skills.
• Able to independently juggle multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, also under time pressure.
• Able to judge and uphold the decision, even for alleged Senior Leadership, towards Business and P&C (senior leaders).
