HEICO Aircraft Maintenance focuses on developing repair technologies for aircraft components, based in Leipzig. As an EASA and FAA Part-145 approved maintenance organization, we offer flexible and mobile repair solutions to airlines and the MRO industry. To support our growth, we are looking for a Sheet Metal Repair Technician (m/w/d).

Ihre Aufgaben

1. Detecting damage on aircraft components and determining the proper repair technologies and materials required.
2. Using manufacturers’ specifications, relevant repair documentation, work orders, and drawings confidently and efficiently.
3. Performing repair work on aircraft sheet metal components using standard methods (drilling, riveting, sawing, edging, bending).
4. Inspecting the work performed using test and measurement equipment.
5. Creating technical documentation of all repair work.
6. Maintaining tools and equipment.

Ihr Profil

1. Completed education as a mechanic for sheet metal work or structural mechanic specialized in sheet metal work; or similar.
2. Ideally, some professional experience in aviation-related sheet metal repair work in accordance with SRM or CMM.
3. High quality awareness and a proactive attitude.
4. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
5. Ability to work independently and in a team.
6. Good spoken and written English skills (technical English).
7. EU work permit is required.
8. Driver’s license class B.
