Job Description

We are seeking a Vice President of Operational Quality for our site in Starnberg (Percha), Germany. Would you like to make a valuable contribution to patients' health and take on meaningful responsibilities? Join Aenova, a leading contract manufacturer and developer in the pharmaceutical industry, with 4,000 employees across 15 sites. Our Starnberg site is the headquarters of the Aenova Group.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 8 Quality Units responsible for manufacturing sites in Germany.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality oversight strategy and roadmap aligned with business and site objectives, fostering a holistic 'One Quality' culture.
• Drive quality topics across manufacturing sites and ensure deployment of corporate processes and systems.
• Define quality performance and compliance goals, objectives, and KPIs in agreement with Corporate Quality.
• Support CAPA plans from inspections and audits.
• Provide technical and regulatory guidance, coaching, personnel development, and performance evaluations.
• Serve as escalation point for critical quality events and as primary contact for Site Heads.
• Oversee projects aimed at improving cost of good quality.

Your profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Quality within pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sectors, with senior management roles.
• Advanced Degree (e.g., PhD) in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields.
• Extensive knowledge of Quality Operations and applicable drug regulations.
• Problem-solving skills, negotiation ability, and flexibility.
• Strong leadership, communication skills, and experience working in matrix organizations.
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
