Job Description

Primary Purpose

To grow market share through business development across prospective national and pan-European accounts, manage and develop existing accounts, identify, pursue, and close strategic sales opportunities, and participate efficiently in national tenders.

Key Accountabilities

  • Achieve annual target revenue, profit, and units.
  • Grow pipeline and prospective sales opportunities.
  • Manage and penetrate existing accounts.
  • Meet customer expectations and applications.
  • Manage and coordinate tender processes.
  • Develop new accounts into contracts.
  • Build internal and external relations through sales support, finance, dealers, and aftermarket to maximize sales.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Business management degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of complex solution selling and structured sales approaches, including formal training and coaching.
  • Product, application, and industry knowledge.
  • Proven professional sales experience with major accounts or corporations, preferably in manufacturing or an international environment.
  • Creative, persistent business development skills.
  • Prospecting and negotiation skills with multiple influence points.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience responding to national and pan-European tenders.
  • Industry relevance.
