This Asset Manager is looking to hire an Accountant to join their small, close-knit team of about twenty in Luxembourg. The team operates as a cohesive unit, emphasizing teamwork and accessibility, with top management easily reachable for questions or discussions.

Responsibilities

1. Participate in annual closings, ensure payment and review of invoices.
2. Review VAT returns and liaise with tax authorities and other stakeholders.
3. Book intercompany transactions collaboratively with experienced accountants.
4. As you grow, take on full accounting cycle responsibilities and new challenges.

Profile and Career Path

• Minimum 1 year of accounting or audit experience in Luxembourg, ideally in a Big Four, audit firm, PFS, fiduciary, or asset manager, with exposure to real estate investment vehicles/SPVs.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written; additional languages are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant finance training.
• Experience with software such as ViewPoint, Yardi, Dynamics, or NetSuite is advantageous.
• Salary up to €55,000 gross, plus a 10% bonus, meal vouchers (€10.80), health insurance (DKV) for family, and a pension plan above market standard (6%).
• Work closely with managers and senior accountants, who support your technical growth and autonomy.
• Located centrally in Luxembourg, with easy access via tram or bus.
• Exposure to interesting transactions to develop your technical skills and advance your career.
