Proposal / Tendering Engineer - Permanent role, €70,000 - 95,000 plus fantastic benefits

This company is experiencing rapid growth and is expected to double in size within the next 18 months.

Requirements:

• C1 German language proficiency or native German speaker

General Accountabilities

1. Review and understand tender documents, including technical specifications, drawings, and commercial terms.
2. Collaborate with suppliers to submit the most competitive tender on time and within the client's budget.
3. Evaluate value engineering or cost-saving opportunities.
4. Identify risks, opportunities, and key differentiators in the bid process.
5. Understand the commercial fundamentals of a project.
6. Coordinate with engineering, project, and commercial teams to prepare tender documents and value propositions.
7. Liaise with sub-contractors and sub-consultants on technical and commercial issues for client offerings.
8. Engage with the supply chain to establish cost-effective and innovative solutions, reviewing supplier offerings for technical compliance.
9. Lead tender handover meetings.
10. Manage client interface during the tender and post-tender stages, including clarifications.
11. Compile and assess technical submittals and tender submissions.
