Jobbeschreibung

You must have a record of exceeding a €3MM annual quota and at least 2 years of >30% annual growth selling high-quality, premium-priced industrial MRO components directly to food and pharma manufacturers, OEM machine builders, and through industrial distributors.

We are looking for someone who loves working with precision-engineered industrial products and manufacturing, but seeks more challenge and excitement in their career. The German RSM will live and sell in Germany, reporting to a German manager based at our factory in Beckum, a subsidiary of a rapidly growing American company.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in a technical field involving fluids, bulk materials, or ingredients. You may have sold machines with integral pumps or fluid movement, or related products to manufacturers in the meat and poultry, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and confection industries.

We’re looking for a candidate who tracks their sales activities, not hours worked. The right person understands that personal development and business success come from pushing beyond comfort zones—especially when no one is watching. You love winning, hate losing, and measure success by commissions earned and helping customers improve their businesses.

You should expect to travel approximately 80% of the time and have experience selling through the entire customer lifecycle—from project creation and specification advising, to closing deals, and ongoing sales to existing customers.

You should have demonstrated expertise in consultative sales, relationship building, value selling, and territory management. Our products are premium-priced with a 3-6 month sales cycle, so experience in similar circumstances is essential.

You will excel at prospecting and closing 3-5 new customers per month, relying on your engineering skills, business acumen, understanding of business operations and procurement, and strong sales skills.

Your communication skills—both written and verbal—must be as strong as your technical skills. You should be comfortable engaging with managing directors, engineering and maintenance managers, and procurement teams, discussing process flow, technical details, and operational considerations.

Compensation

We offer a base salary of €70-90K depending on experience, quarterly bonuses, and an uncapped annual bonus based on sales performance. The OTE for a strong sales representative is approximately €125K. Benefits and allowances are included.
