• Build, maintain, and expand long-term relationships with the German Federal Armed Forces, focusing on the Federal Ministry of Defence (BMVg), Planning Department A (PlgABw), and the German Navy.
• Acquire contracts and projects with a focus on the German Navy, proactively identify customer needs in the naval forces sector, and undertake necessary business development activities.
• Participate actively and committedly in networks of relevant associations and institutions (e.g., BDI, BDLi, BDSV, Bundeswehr, NATO).
• Inform and advise the sales management on strategic and operational issues.
• Monitor service delivery, meet milestones, and initiate corrective actions for ongoing large projects with customer relevance.
• Develop a comprehensive network within various business and functional areas of Rheinmetall, providing excellent national and international career prospects.

Qualifications:

• Military career as a naval officer (m/f/d), with operational experience at sea.
• Successfully completed studies, ideally with a focus on business or engineering sciences.
• Confident in dealing with contacts at military and civilian leadership levels.
• Extensive knowledge of structures and workflows in the Bundeswehr procurement sector is advantageous.
• Excellent German and business-fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
• High willingness to travel within Germany.
• Must pass security clearance by the BMWi.
• Strong analytical, conceptual skills, organizational and implementation abilities, with a strong customer orientation.
