Biogas is key to a 100% renewable, decentralized energy system, as it enables the production of power even when other renewables like wind and solar are unavailable. At Reverion, our mission is to replace conventional combustion engines used at biogas facilities with flexible micro power plants that generate electricity with world-record-breaking efficiency and enable long-term energy storage by converting surplus power into gas.

Leveraging innovative solid oxide fuel cell technology, we provide a reliable 24/7 energy supply, enable long-term seasonal storage, and help eliminate megatons of CO₂ emissions produced by conventional engines.

Our technology

Already proven in the field, with secured Series A funding and additional EU support, we are scaling up for series production.

Your role as a Full Stack Software Developer

You will design and implement our plant management platform from scratch, contribute to projects like our customer portal, data pipelines, and plant monitoring services. You will join a diverse team of Software Developers, DevOps engineers, and Data Scientists, collaborating across disciplines to build the future of clean energy.

Your responsibilities

1. Design and develop our plant management platform, making key architectural decisions and selecting frameworks and languages.
2. Develop our customer portal using React, TypeScript, and C#.
3. Deploy applications to our Kubernetes environment.
4. Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing to maintain quality and collaboration.
5. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Your profile

1. Degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
2. 2-3 years of professional software development experience.
3. Proficiency in C# or Java for backend development.
4. Experience with TypeScript (preferably React) for frontend development.
5. Python or Rust experience is a plus.
6. Ability to work independently and in teams.
7. Balance between quick delivery and maintainability.
8. Proactive in identifying tasks and requirements.
9. Fluent in English, conversational in German (B2 level).
