Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the initial start-up and processing of all molding machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment.
• Participate in the set-up and sampling of new, transferred, and modified molds.
• Responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process including setup, teardown, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and workflow.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Work with production personnel and R&D to ensure molded components meet requirements, making adjustments as needed.
• Provide molded components in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to develop tooling and fixtures for high-quality manufacturing.
• Follow Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Lean standards.

Qualifications:

Work Experience and Education

• Minimum of 3+ years in an injection molding environment with molds.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Continuous Improvement culture.
• Knowledge of electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and automation systems.

Specific knowledge

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and logical reasoning.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, accuracy, and speed for repetitive tasks.

Specific competencies

• Motivated, punctual, and eager to work.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, manage time, and be flexible.
• PLC programming, troubleshooting, and learning skills.
