We're seeking a driven Finance Business Partner to be based in Hannover, Germany, to strategically support our client’s Europe and UK operations. This role involves direct and strategic partnership with regional heads (Sales and R&D), focusing on:

  1. Performance Metrics: Defining and implementing key performance indicators.
  2. Cost Analysis: Conducting in-depth "cost to serve" analysis.
  3. Growth Strategies: Collaborating on and developing regional growth strategies.

Reporting directly to global sales operations and analysis, you will serve as a key financial advisor, providing critical insights and recommendations to improve performance and efficiency. You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity and driving operational excellence, ensuring regional financial alignment.

Your responsibilities will include :

  1. Risk and control management: Assess weaknesses and develop mitigation plans for compliance and operational risks.
  2. Drive financial and performance analysis: Generate clear management reports with key KPIs and variance highlights. Conduct monthly variance analysis, discuss findings with leaders to understand financial drivers, and control selling and distribution expenses.
  3. Lead process improvements: Facilitate cross-functional reviews to redesign workflows and collaborate with global and regional teams to align future processes with business goals.
  4. Manage reporting and issue resolution: Communicate identified deficiencies to senior management, recommend and implement solutions. Monitor ongoing issues and corrective action plans, escalate critical items for timely management intervention.
  5. Compliance and Integrity: Foster a culture of compliance, actively participate in enhancing internal controls, and ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
  6. Perform ad-hoc duties as required to support business needs.

This position demands a strategic financial leader with a proven track record of driving business performance. To excel, candidates must demonstrate :

  1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline is essential.
  2. Manufacturing background (automotive, FMCG, or heavy industry preferred) with 5 to 8 years of MNC business partnering. Asian market experience is a plus.
  3. Business analysis expertise, delivering operational insights, and leading cross-functional process improvements.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to extract key insights from complex data and articulate them strategically to stakeholders.
  5. Comprehensive expertise in statutory and compliance matters, strategically protecting the organization from regulatory risks.
  6. Strong business acumen coupled with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring financial integrity and informed strategic decisions.
  7. Superior communication and influencing skills, enabling clear articulation of complex financial data to diverse audiences.
  8. Expert proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for efficient financial analysis and compelling presentations.
  9. Exhibits proactive and results-driven leadership with a strong drive for growth and proven ability to independently lead initiatives.
  10. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is critical to support effective communication and collaboration within the company's global and regional framework.
