Welocalize, a global leader in language and content transformation services, is seeking passionate Ukrainian linguists with deep knowledge of contemporary music and excellent writing skills to join our Music localization team. In this role, you will translate and adapt music-related content into Ukrainian, ensuring an authentic and engaging tone for Ukrainian-speaking audiences across various genres.

Responsibilities include:

• Translating and post-editing music content with creativity and accuracy.
• Adapting tone and style to reflect Ukrainian music culture and idiomatic expressions.
• Collaborating with assessment teams on testing tasks.
• Maintaining brand consistency across UI, banners, and promotional materials.
• Providing feedback to improve content relevance and impact.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in music, media, or creative localization.
• Strong knowledge of current music trends and genres such as Pop, K-Pop, and Hip Hop.
• Fluent Ukrainian language skills and cultural understanding.
• Experience with UI/UX copy, music metadata, or artist bios.
• Proficiency with CAT tools and content adaptation across platforms.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, journalism, or related field; creative writing experience is a plus.

Preferred:

• Published work on music platforms like Pitchfork or Rolling Stone.
• Experience with music streaming services.
• Ability to adapt voice/style for Gen Z or pop culture audiences.
