Project Controls Manager – Frankfurt – Data Centres

Are you a Project Controls Manager looking for your next contract role? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our valued client in Frankfurt on an initial 24-month contract.

Experienced in delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, and Semiconductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering, and delivery of facilities for high-tech industries. This is your chance to join an innovative, market-leading data centre company as their newest Project Controls Manager. Responsibilities:

1. Lead the project controls function for the assigned construction projects, including cost, budget, quantity control, schedule management, and reporting.
2. Partner with project management and the construction team to foster a culture of discipline and accountability throughout the project.
3. Enforce consistent project-level controls over budgets, schedules, quantities, commitments, liquidity, and reporting.
4. Report early on project cost, schedule, and scope challenges, providing solutions to mitigate risks.
5. Manage and update a project budgeting tool that adapts to changes in scope, cost, and schedule.
6. Lead forecasting processes to capture current spend and schedule expectations, presenting findings to senior management with variance explanations.

Requirements:

1. Advanced knowledge of cost engineering concepts and scheduling skills.
2. Understanding of Earned Value Management and quantity-based progress measurement.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. High level of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in solving complex issues.
5. Proficiency with Primavera P6, EcoSys, Trimble Estimate, Microsoft SharePoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
