Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Legal, Compliance and Risk Manager (m/f/d) to manage and develop our compliance strategies, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements across our international organization. You will also manage our software license agreements and other legal documents in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the sole advisor and sparring partner for the Management/CEO on all compliance-related issues for our German and international entities.
• Manage and coordinate internal quality management and prepare audit and certification processes (ISO 9001, 27001, GxP) with our external QM service provider.
• Ensure GDPR compliance in cooperation with our external data protection officer, and develop policies and processes.
• Steer and monitor the implementation of the company's ESG strategy and ensure regular reporting of actions.
• Establish a proactive risk management system to identify, analyze, and mitigate compliance gaps and liability risks.

Legal and Contract Management:

• Manage international software license agreements (SaaS model) and implement contract management tools.
• Provide legal and commercial advice across various departments and act as an interface in legal matters.
• Participate in contract negotiations and engage external counsel as needed.
• Identify risks in contracts and legal documents, develop mitigation strategies, and promote a culture of compliance.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in compliance, quality management, or legal operations, preferably in regulated industries.
• Proficiency in quality management systems (ISO or others).
• Knowledge of IT law, software licensing, corporate governance, and contract management.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Business fluency in German and English with international experience.
