What you'll do

As a (Senior) Solutions Sales Executive (f/m/d), you will play a pivotal role in driving cloud sales for SAP’s Supply Chain Management solutions within the Discrete Manufacturing Industries (DMI) sector. You will take full ownership of the sales cycle — from identifying opportunities and engaging key decision-makers to closing deals — while ensuring alignment with internal teams such as Value Advisory, Consulting, and Marketing. Your focus will be on showcasing the business value of SAP’s “Design-to-Operate” suite to Large Enterprise customers, tailoring your approach to their strategic supply chain needs. In this role, your ability to translate supply chain challenges into transformative solutions will be essential to building lasting client relationships and consistently exceeding sales targets.

  • Achieve agreed sales targets in Supply Chain Management.
  • Drive sales cycles from demand generation to deal closing.
  • Manage opportunities with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify client decision-makers across various business departments.
  • Report current deal progress and forecast expected revenues quarterly.
  • Present SAP’s Supply Chain Management value propositions and negotiate contract arrangements for one or multiple solutions.
  • Collaborate with Value Advisory, Consulting, and Marketing & Business Development departments.

What you bring:

  • University Degree in Business, Engineering, or IT (Bachelor/Master's or higher).
  • Proven track record in outperforming sales targets.
  • Experience in selling to business departments and C-Suite.
  • Expertise in discrete manufacturing industry.
  • Strategic thinker, high degree of creativity and innovation.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain challenges and use cases.
  • Fluent in German and English with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in Value-based selling.
  • Several years of professional experience selling business software and Cloud solutions or business development background.
  • Highly motivated with a strong team spirit.
