Senior Product Manager - Growth (m/f/d), Munich

Munich, Germany

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager - Growth to join our team in Munich. The role involves focusing on KPIs such as usage, engagement, and customer retention, and their impact on expansion and churn. You will define and measure product usage, increase engagement through targeted mechanisms, and develop qualitative growth models to achieve our goals.

Your responsibilities include ensuring our platform provides continuous value by managing features that help customers improve their compliance and security maturity. You will also shape the strategic development of our platform features, deciding on priorities for now, next, and later.

The role involves a time investment of approximately 50% in research and strategy, 30% in implementation and operations, and 20% in go-to-market activities. You will stay focused on customer research and identifying growth opportunities through insights, competitive analysis, and market knowledge. You should be comfortable tackling complex problems and making tough decisions, such as balancing feature rollout versus technical debt reduction or reusing legacy functions for quick wins versus long-term strategy.

With support from the product team, you will ensure an excellent customer experience and that our value proposition remains relevant and compliant. Additionally, you should meet the basic prerequisites of a product manager, including:

  • A good sense of humor and humility of a beginner
  • The ability to discuss, challenge, and engage
  • Responsibility for the entire product lifecycle from development to launch
  • Deep understanding of data protection, InfoSec, and compliance
  • A competitive eye for positioning, prioritization, pricing, and messaging

Profile

  • At least 4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management
  • Excellent collaboration and leadership skills to gain strategic consensus
  • Implementation mindset with responsibility for the entire product lifecycle from discovery to launch
  • Willingness to develop a deep understanding of data protection, information security, and compliance
  • Regular use of AI to support daily work
  • A sharp eye for positioning, prioritization, pricing, and messaging, demonstrating a competitive approach
  • Plus: C1-level German language skills are a big plus, facilitating effective communication with German-speaking stakeholders and customers.
  • Experience in start-up or scale-up environments, especially in growth roles
  • Experience with product data platforms like Amplitude, Gainsight PX...
  • Proficient in Figma
  • Experience in product management for AI-powered SaaS products
  • Familiarity with data protection regulations, best practices in info security, or compliance frameworks
